Apple updated iOS 11.1.1 for iPhone and iPad users Bugs fixed auto-correct problem.
Apple announced the launch of the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 11.1.1.
The new update mentions two fixes as part of the change log. The first is the problem of automatic correction with the keyboard and the second is the instances where the ‘Hey Siri’ command stops working.
As reported earlier, the company was working on posting updates this week to solve the problem of automatic correction, where some users could not write the ‘i’ character. iOS should notify users about the update received. However, if your iPhone does not ask you to update your device, you can go to the Settings app and navigate to “Software Updates” to manually verify the update.
According to a 9to5Mac report, Apple has already updated its iOS 11.2 beta for public beta developers and testers with a correction for the automatic correction problem. This comes days after the company suggested a temporary solution to the problem with the replacement of text. You can navigate to the settings> general> keyboard> text replacement. In the search bar, the user has to type an “I” in uppercase, while in the section of shortcuts they can add in the phrase section “tiny”. It’s a complicated fix so you can also update it.
