“From Sunday evening, we noticed that the world time for the iPhone X has improved for 3-4 weeks from 5-6 weeks on October 31,” Munster said. “This two-week improvement is a slightly better offer than we expected, as we expected a weekly improvement by November 5. We are continuing to expect the iPhone X to strike a balance between supply and demand sometime in January.”

“We still believe the global demand for iPhone X outstrips supply by a margin of 2-to-1, and is now the biggest problem for (chief executive Tim) Cook and Apple’s, will ease the supply chain in the short term to help fulfill demand on the holiday season, “said Ives in the report.

According to analysts Rosenblatt Securities Dzhun Zhang, Apple has sold about 3 million units iPhone X worldwide in its opening weekend. Due to supply constraints, comparison with other iPhone launch is not relevant, he said.

“Our study suggests that iPhone production ramp X is on track,” Zhang said in a report. “Truncated (c) the waiting time from 5-6 weeks to 3-4 weeks tells us orders not accelerated following the sale of the weekend and stabilized.”

He expects Apple’s, to send about 25 million iPhone units in X in the December quarter.
